Its really great that we in London can now buy beautiful cooking books by Julie Le Clerc because unlike other Kiwis we don't have the luxury of being able to pop into her cafe so being able to create her recipes from her books on the other side of the world is pretty good. The recipes are so clear, the photographs are fabulous, and everything always tastes wonderful.

I thought this was a pretty bad recipe book and was surprised to see it had five whole stars! It seems to me, that it is all style over content. Don't go near the cheesecake recipe - it took me hours to make, and DAYS to clean the gloop (the filling) off my counter and floor and even longer to sort out the biscuit base that had stuck to my spring-form tin...
I really can't think of a single good thing to come out of this book.
