Barely raised a smile,

This review is from: More Senior Moments (The Ones We Forgot) (Hardcover)
I totally agree with TerryC - this is one of the least funny 'humorous' books I have ever read. A large number of the anecdotes have only the most tenuous connection with what I understand as 'senior moments', and many have no connection at all. This wouldn't matter much if the anecdotes were very funny, but the majority are, at best, only mildly amusing and many are not funny at all. Some - such as the old chestnut 'What should we do about the Abortion Bill?' - even sound like recycled Bob Monkhouse jokes. Not recommended.

Poor follow-up to Senior Moments,

This follow-up is so poor after the amusing first volume "Senior Moments". It lacks any originality at all, and merely seems to try cashing in on what was an excellent first book.
