This being my third Carole Matthews book, I found it a bit slow at first, but then it gets extremely good and you have to keep reading to find out what happens...Very good!!!

I love all of Carole Matthews' books and this is no exception. I found this story to be pure escapism for me.I thought this was true to life in my case as there are times when I would like to disappear off to a spa type place for a week even for a change of scene from the humdrum day to day life of bringing up two kids! I could not put the book down until I had finished it, much to the annoyance of my husband. As I read the book it was interesting to see that the readers were kept in suspense wondering whether the main character would go back to her husband or go off into the sunset with her new man. I was glad, however, that there was a happy ending to the book, almost like a fairy tale and that a break from the old routine really does you good.

Definitely more to life than this
sorry but I didnt like this myself and the characters were not people I liked and I gave up half way through cos I couldnt care about what happened and it wasnt funny. Read more

A fantastic holiday read
This book is a must as a holiday read, it is both laugh out loud funny, and make you weep romantic and beautiful, i would reccommend it to anyone.
