Format:Audio CD
After the excellent 'expanded versions' of "Meet The Supremes" and "Where Did Our Love Go", here is another original album by the Supremes in the 1960s, in a breathtakingly good quality on 2 CDs, 24-bit digitally remastered and expanded .
What can I say?
Here again everything is true! Sound quality, bonus tracks, artwork:
In the 1960s, many LPs were both in a mono-, and published in a stereo version, since mono-record player was still widespread and stereo LPs sounded a little underpowered for them. The new double-CD "More Hits By The Supremes" on Disc 1 contains both the original mono version as well (from track 13), the original stereo version.
The remastering
is fantastic - as good as the shots sounded before. Found on Disc 2 is also highly interesting bonus tracks (previously not included live versions and alternate revised and original versions of songs), of course, in great sound quality.
The artwork
is also more than impressive. 2 Booklets, with many unpublished photos, original blurb of new comments + LP - a treat for fans! Lovingly made-up, hinged cover included.
Material for the song:
The original Supremes (Diana Ross - Mary Wilson - Florence Ballard) had arrived in 1965 at the top of the pop world. Their five No. 1 hits in a row (Where Did Our Love Go + + + Baby Love +++ Come See About Me + + + Stop! In The Name Of Love + + + Back In My Arms Again) had each sold over 1 million times .
The group was now a regular in the US-American TV shows of Steve Allen, Ed Sullivan, on, up to Sammy Davis Jr. The composer-/producer-Team Holland-Dozier-Holland The Supremes also wrote the songs on this album on the body, the "chemistry" was right and the fans were again electrified.
Besides the hit "Nothing But Heartaches", "Stop! In The Name Of Love" and "Back In My Arms Again," see "More Hits By The Supremes" highly interesting B-sides and non-single tracks, like "Whisper You Love Me Boy "+ + +" I'm In Love Again "+ + +" Mother Dear "+ + +" He Holds His Own "+ + +" Who Could Ever Doubt My Love "+ + +" Heartaches Do not Last Away "+ + +" Honey Boy "+ + +" Ask Any Girl "sung by Diana Ross and the other two Supremes great.
At that time, the Supremes were the most successful and popular female vocal group in the world.

First off well done to Amazon for getting this out so quickly I received it Friday. It is another brilliant Hip O select cd The music is brilliant the packaging excellent and it is an amazing cd. You get the whole original mono cd and also the stereo and 26 extra tracks a real value for money cd. It made my Christmas buy and enjoy.
