Review

'The book has given me a lot of new ideas and I am going to make use of the book as soon as possible … More Grammar Games is an excellent teaching resource and any school that has abandoned old fashioned models on drill and translation should own at least one copy of the book.' English Teachers' Newsletter, Czech Rep

'More Grammar Games is a very important resource book for EFL/ESL teachers who would like to develop their own bank of activities.' VATME Newsletter No 63, 1996

'More Grammar Games recently appeared in our staff room for ESL teacher's perusal. It was commandeered by those who were lucky enough to get it first, and when it was requested to be passed on to other teachers, the parting was reluctant. But not for long. Those teachers have now bought their own copies … This book is highly recommended.' Australian Language Matters, Vol 4, Nº 1, 1996

5.0 out of 5 stars Multi Level Multi Faceted Activity Book 22 Oct 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
One of the easiest books I have seen for teacher use. The activities require little preparation and materials. Students become actively involed with various aspects of the English Language. I can find activities for all levels and age groups.

5.0 out of 5 stars As a new ESL Teacher...This book is FANTASTIC 23 Sep 2003
By Michelle E Davidge - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I often get stumped on new ideas for "game day" and this book has helped a great deal in regards to making game day different while learning important grammar in the process. I will never leave home without this book!
It has all different levels of games that you can change to meet the needs of your age group.

It is very easy to do all activities even if you are in a place without any resources. So now, instead of wondering what to do, I am now looking forward to game day along with my students.

I definately recommend this book for new ESL teachers who aren't creative enough (like me!) to come up with new ideas each week.

Happy Teaching!

5.0 out of 5 stars Endlessly useful! 12 Jun 2007
By J. Marren - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
The "Grammar Games" set of books is a must for transforming deadly dull grammar lessons into creative and fun activities. "More Grammar Games" is the second in the series. Each activity lists the grammar structure involved, level, preparation, materials and timing. A big bonus is that the Table of Contents lists the grammar point as well as the name of the activity--far too many other resources only give you the name of the activity, which makes it impossible to find anything easily. A great resource!
