I was very disappointed by this book. I had hoped it would provide me with lots of routes along cycle paths around the South East of England, that each route would be maybe 20 miles to last an afternoon and would be of varied terrain. Alas no, all this book provides is a list of places where there are routes which do not allow cars, but are generally very basic and no more than 8 miles.
The image of a "serious" cyclist on the front-cover is very misleading as there is no way anyone other than someone looking for a quiet leisurely ride would consider using this book.

A good selection of fairly short routes, just right for children too young to ride on the road but old enough to enjoy a family bike ride. Loses a star for some slightly inaccurate information in places.
