One day there is an accident in the yard at Ffarquhar. Thomas says it is Percy's fault. Percy says it isn't. As time goes on, both engines become crosser and crosser. Percy keeps out of Thomas' way as much as he can, until one day he is called out to an emergency.

A great book written by the son of the original author! Christopher Awdry helps bring Thomas back to life with four stories that tell of his troubled relationship with Percy after Percy plays a trick on him. Three stories from this book were adapted for the TV series, "Double Trouble", "The Runaway", and "Better late Than Never". A great book for both kids and adults who grew up with the Railway Series. Highly recommended!

Thomas the Tank Engine and Percy the Small Engine are good friends. But this is not for children under the age of 5. The book is about Percy accidently letting coal fall out of his trucks and onto Thomas. Thomas thought that Percy did it on purpose. So they scarbled in this book until the last story of the book when Thomas called Percy a ''drip.'' I never even seen that word in the other Thomas books. Later on in the story Thomas burst his tanks and Percy had to help him home. They were friends again in the end when Thomas said that he was sorry to Percy. I decided to put this book on the shelf after I read it, but I will have to see if anyone else who I know who love Thomas learned the word ''drip.''
