A strange true tale of our times about death and cleaning and making money. Neal Smithers was looking for a change of career when he saw Pulp Fiction and came up with the idea for a business venture. Author Alan Emmins goes to California to travel around in the black van with the slogan: Crime Scene Cleaners: Homicides, Suicides and Accidental Death, and finds himself learning about cleaning crime scenes and embarking on an exploration of the American way of death.
About the Author
Alan Emmins is a freelance journalist whose features and images have appeared worldwide in publications such as GQ, The New York Post, Stern, Playboy and The New York Daily News. He is also managing editor of the fiction magazine and website Spoiled Ink. Alan is British, but has worked mainly in New York. He now lives in Denmark.
