5.0 out of 5 stars Relevance and clarity, 12 Jan 2008
This review is from: Mooting and Advocacy Skills (Paperback)
What I very much liked about the book was that it is written in an engaging, clear, friendly literary style but is also broken up into logical sections with headings that make it easy to go back and find what you want. It is very practical in its approach and comprehensive. Although directed at mooting it would be of great value in giving presentations at Tribunals or any other adversarial setting both for the professional or the lay person giving evidence on their own behalf.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly useful, 5 Dec 2007

This review is from: Mooting and Advocacy Skills (Paperback)
I run at mooting competition and this book has been invaluable over the past few months. There are other textbooks on mooting around, but this goes beyond the usual fare. It has practical advice on how to moot and how to run a competition, even giving sample posters for advertising the competition.

I have recommended this to all my students and highly recommend it to anyone involved in mooting in any capacity.

This is an excellent book for anyone who is considering participating in a Mooting Competition or contest, or wishes to learn about the skills needed for mooting. At Strode's College, we hold an annual Mooting Competition for A-Level Law students. I consider this publication a valuable tool for developing mooting skills. Highly recommended.
