2.0 out of 5 stars Moosewood Cookbook Classics 18 Jan 2011
I love cookery books and was intrigued by the Moosewood Cookbook Classics. The recipes are okay but oh dear the size of the book is tiny, if the information about the size had been mentioned I don't think I would have bought this book at all, and the print small so I have glasses as well as my magnifying glass to read the recipes. I wish the publishers had done the book even in an A5 size rather than a little larger than a credit card!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Moosewood in the kitchen 5 Dec 2002
By A Customer
This Moosewood cookbook is precisely like the others: brilliant! Vegetarian, original, innovative, easy and inexpensive to prepare. . . the only question is how to find enough hours in the week to prepare all the irrestistible recipes.

This is an incredibly small book - it is not much bigger than a postage stamp! Recipes are good though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Tiny Book 27 Feb 2011

This book is really really tiny.

The recipes are good but it is difficult to use this book in the kitchen.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too Small! 3 Dec 2011

This book is absolutely tiny and a total waste of money. There are very few recipes and they aren't particularly different or interesting. I had confused it with the larger (and much better) Moosewood Cookbook, so watch out for this! The only use I can think of for this book is as a little gift if you are travelling and are on the lookout for extremely small presents, maybe for older children (kids like small books), a teenager or someone unfamiliar with vegetarian food.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yum! 13 May 2004
By A Customer
A great vege cook book, with some interesting ideas for unusual but tasty vegetarian food - although I eat fish and meat, this is one of the most used cookbooks in my kitchen. Lots of soups, salads, pasta, sandwiches and desserts made with easy-to-get-hold-of ingredients. At first, I was put off by the handwriting instead of typeface, but I find it a pleasure to read, I also love the little illustrations and notes on each recipe. There are many ways you can reduce the fat/ dairy content of each recipe too, which are always written down. The Apple/ Cottage Cheese pancakes are really good - perfect for Sunday Brunch.
