It may seem a strange way to start a review that i have given 5 stars, but I wouldn't really call myself a big Shadows fan. But they have been around for so long and their style of making music so distinctive, that a look at the classic songs on this album, you just know it has to be good. From great foot tapping versions of MOONLIGHT SHADOW and WALK OF LIFE to sensitive renderings of HEY JUDE, HELLO, THREE TIMES A LADY and SAILING. The recording and stereo separation are excellent. This is one of those albums that you can play wherever or whatever takes your mood. Sitting down, in the car, in the kitchen, in the shed, play it low, play it loud and all these songs are so well known, you'll probably want to sing along. Even if, like me, you're only a partial Shadows fan, buy it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This is some of the best of the Shadows recordings. I only had it on tape which I played at times when I needed to relax or before going to sleep when out in our motorhome, and as we progressed to CD operating machines , we needed to update. Brilliant music, and Hank makes his guitar almost sing the words to some of the tracks. It just has some of my favourite songs on it and could not be a more wonderful collection.

Hi, yes! I could get CARRIED AWAY liking this cover of moonlight shadow , plus others, i really like the bass line in certain parts , and nice drumming !
