Every book collection should include this particular tome. It's aimed at bairns obviously but it is a great escape of a book for any age. Loose yourself in the story ;- smugglers/ghosts?/treasure and love too.... wonderful, just wonderful.

It was good to read an adventure story well written with rich use of the English language. I bought it as I learnt that Chris du Burgh has based his new album on it and so decided to start with the story.

My childhood days have long since gone so I would strongly recommend the category of 'Children's Classic' is one to be ignored. Moonfleet is a Classic for all ages. A sheer delight, especially when read with Chris de Burgh's Moonfleet & Other Stories is played in the background.
