A fantastic read. I really felt like I knew the characters in this book, and I felt their pain and hopelessness at the situation they were in. I felt anger, worry, frustration; all manner of emotions as I was reading this. I still feel it, because their journey hasn¿t finished yet, and I have no idea what will happen to them next. The second in the Stonewylde series, 'Moondance' continues the story where 'Magus' left off. It's a lot darker in places but the characters are much more developed - we see more of Sylvie and Yul's relationship and although I like this one best as Yul doesn't suffer as much physically, Kit Berry builds the tension between them and Magus till right at the end with a huge cliffhanger that will make you long to read the next one!
For me , the highlight is seeing how the Stonewylders celebrate more of the 8 festivals, notably Lammas and Mabon. Kit has visualised and written so vividly about how the harvest is gathered and how to celebrate at the cricket match, how the apples are gathered in autumn and turned into cider. The Stonewylde world is so well described in this novel - if you weren't hooked by now, you will be!

WOW! An absolute corker of a book! COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! Please read Magus of Stonewylde first as this is the second book in the series.
The story continues of yul, slyvie, Magus and the fight for the moonmagic.
More characters are introduced and we get a even better feel for the community of stonewylde. Just reading the third book Solstice at Stonewylde. Believe me it gets better and better!

This book is amazing, I could not put it down. I learnt so much about Pagans as well, not only a good story but educational too. I am now reading the 2nd book that follows. I cannot get enough.

Super Stonewylde series
This book is rivetting, and as number 2 in the Stonewyld series makes you want to go out immediately to buy Book 3. It is also beautifuly written as was the first in the series.
