I should have checked the measurements before buying - the swing seat is really very small, too small for my 9 year old. Even if you are buying for younger children, why would you choose such a narrow seat? You don't want to have to go out and buy another one in a few years time. The whole point of buying wood is that it lasts and looks good for years.

This seat is really sturdy and the ropes are very easy to adjust. It has clips to attach it to the swing frame so it can easily be removed when it starts to rain. Good quality and easy to use, can't ask for more than that.
