I bought one of these for my 1 year old. On the plus side it can be filled with either sand or water or both and provides hours of fun though you have to provide your own scoops etc.
On the minus side, the legs fall out if you try to move it; the lid is not watertight so every time it rains the sand got soaked and it also has bits above the legs where rain collects, I have had to make a plastic cover to put under the lid to keep sand a bit drier.
If it had a watertight lid I would give it 9/10 but as it doesn't 6/10

I was so happy to see my two daughters (27 months and 10 months) play with this sand and water table - My 10 month old can pull up on it when it has water in it and loves splashing around with toys. My older daughter likes to pour the water into all the different compartments. I haven't used it with sand yet since my 10 month old would try to eat it. Having the lid is really useful since they can use it as an outdoor table as well.
On the down side, the legs don't click into place at all, so when you need to tip the water out, the legs fall off. Because of this, I am not sure it would be stable enough to use just as a table without water or sand in it to provide ballast.
Overall, a really fun summer toy, as long as you don't mind wet children!

I bought this for my 16 month old and 6 year old children and they love it. It has two sections, one for sand and one for water and there is a lid for when it's not being used, which can turn into a table too. Both my children and the neighbours kids spend ages playing with it. I used to have one of those sit down sand pits many years ago but it's not so comfortable for the kids and it's so big heavy and gets messy quickily. This size is far better and the extra height is great for their little backs. Also when it gets a little mucky it's far easier to clean out! Oh and the legs can detach easily and fit inside the table so easy to store in the winter.

sandy fun
This sand table is an excellent size for the children to play with, i have had four children round it all playing happily with sand and water. Brilliant for lots of learning areas.

Lid Lets Rain In
This is a good sandpit and my little boy has a lot of fun playing with it. However, the lid is just really no good - every time it rains the sandpit gets filled with water.
