2.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this if you want to take it outside 9 Nov 2009
Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
The box says that this has rubbber wheels -they actually are hard plastic and as a consequence the ride is very rough. With the jarring the unit that locks the front wheel works loose and you end up trying to steer with the parent pole, which is not robust enough. You also have to stoop down every few yards to relock the mechanism.

Lastly, part of the safety strap came off within ten minutes. It was not expensive but it is not as safe as it should be. My grandson loves it however, so we battle on. I tried to find out how I complain to Amazon but other than the returns process I can find no way to complain.

I bought this trike for my nephews first birthday, he is a very active advanced little boy who hates his buggy but absolutely loves this trike so much my sister cannot get him off it sometimes. There are expensive versions but this offers good value for money, my son had the same when he was one and we only got rid of it last month and he is now seven!!durable, fun and good value

We bought this trike for my daughter's 2nd birthday, she loves it. Great value for money. It's not as durable as some others but really, how far is she going to go on it? So I would definitely recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars dont buy 9 May 2010
Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
this is not a great product at all. it was hard to put together and it feels flimsy. the steering is impossible so you have to stop and adjust your direction - it kept veering off to the left for some reason. my daughter is 13months old and very slim - the waist strap just about fitted her. she is quite tall and so her feet were dragging on the floor as she is too young to keep her feet on the pedals. she cried and hated it. i hated it as it was too hard to steer, and if you go over slightly angled ground, ie driveway, it nearly topples over.

i sold it onto someone i know who didnt mind all the downfalls and bought the £60 version off ebay for £20 which is fantastic. the one with side bars and a sunshade. the important bit was the footrest. she loves it and we go out for hours on it. do not waste your money buying this cheap one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kid loves it, but it's a bit impractical. 11 Mar 2010
    By willjco
Durability: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
What's good: My 18 month old loves this trike, and is always happy to be push round in it, whereas sometimes he really resists going into a coventional pushchair.

What's not so good: The trike is a bit flimsy, wobbly, and hard to steer - it tends to curve off like a wonky shopping trolly. Not for long trips. Also the saftey strap is very short and barely squeezes around my kid's tummy! (Which is not overly large.)

But hey - it is the cheapest trike on the market, so what do you expect? If you want a viable alternative to a pushchair, buy a more expensive model. If you happy with an occasional-use trike, this one is fine.

    1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing! 3 Jan 2011
    By Jenny
Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
My little boy was bought this as a Christmas present. It is awful. The straps are far too small to fit comfortably around him, the piece of plastic on the extending handle split the second time we took it out, the handle felt flimsy anyway so this was really no surprise. It is incredibly hard to steer, the wheel lock/clutch part pops up every 5 minutes. It really is very plasticky and poorly made/designed. The hard plastic wheels mean that it is very noisy and gives a very bumpy ride. However, he does love going on it. It is just ashame that it has broken already. Please don't waste your money on this, spend a little more and get something sturdier and longer lasting.

Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Really good value for money.Lovely and bright.Very easy and quick to assemble(even for me).My son loves it even though he cant touch the floor or peddles yet as he has just turned 1 year old, and is on the small side(bike is from 15 month). He just likes being pushed around on it, and the straps seem to keep him pretty steady.Overall its seems like a great buy to me.

Durability: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my son and he loves his bike. Its great for trips to the park and great for when he is not happy about going in his pram.
It's not as easy to steer as some of the more expensive ones i have seen but it is perfect for us.
