typical plot, boy meets girl, they fight etc. held my attention since i read it in 2 hours. liked the little details from other of her books, mentioning of Truly and meeting with Jane, cheeky touch.

I have read all of Miss Gibson's books after discovering her earlier this year so they are all fairly fresh in the mind. I personally think that this has not got the same 'meat' as the other books. It's almost as though she has forgot the content and just gone straight for the predictable boy meets girl plot. It missed the humour, wit and red hot love scenes that her previous books have had in abundance and lets face it girls that's what we read Miss Gibsons books for...... lets get back to the early stuff's writing style.

Good but not upto the author's usual standard
This was a good story but I agree with one other reviewer that it just lacked "meat". Having said that if you enjoy Rachel Gibson then its well worth a read.
