A trio of talking fish introduce the wide range of interactive learning games and activities. First up, there's a sub-aqua adventure that introduces some the ocean's more colourful and dangerous inhabitants. You're invited to help a lost dolphin and test your mouse mastery in a series of exciting episodes including escaping from sharks, rescuing fishes from nets and navigating the lobster maze. Three difficulty levels guarantee plenty of mileage from repeat visits.
Further clicking reveals there's plenty more under this particular sea and it's in this choice that the software really comes into its own. The "Create Your Fish" function produces all sorts of spotty and stripy results while our youngest tester loved making underwater scenes. For older users, there's the chance to write and design their own postcards and invitations--particularly handy for swimming pool parties--while a beautifully illustrated interactive dictionary contains a wealth of information about the animals and plants that live in the seas.
