What could be better than a hunky cowboy and multiple orgasms, all under a Montana backdrop? This erotic short addresses that very question and does it while burning up the pages.
Brad and Cassie are hot together. They seem to click between the sheets, and in front of the fire, and other places. I for one will never be able to look at a kitchen table the same way again. But what starts out as casual may end up more serious than either one of them expects.
I was instantly grabbed by this story from the first time that Cassie and Brad meet. It started off on the wrong foot because he thought she was a burglar and tried to keep her from breaking into her own house. I could just imagine her coming off a long road trip to get there and then being attacked by this hunk of a man. And the story just got better from there.
It's short (only about 80 pages), but the author did a great job of moving the story along while still developing their relationship in a short amount of space. We got a lot of back story about Cassie and why she's skittish about relationships, but I would have liked to have known more about what Brad's deal was.
The plot was pretty good, surprising for such a short book. The love scenes were great--very sensual, and they seemed to flow with the story. I loved how Brad made Cassie's fantasy come to life. It was definitely my favorite part of the book. Then we are treated to a wonderful HEA ending that warmed my heart.
Overall, a great short story with a good plot and plenty of heat. It kept me interested from beginning to end and left me with the warm and fuzzies.
