The Monsters of loch ness brought into light! A classic! 26 Aug 2001
By Scott G. Gaines - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I rented this book from my school library and found it to be informative. It has wonderful pictures, and Mackal's ingenous writing brings them to life. A great read for info, and insight into the expeditions of the loch in the 60's. A Great read all Mackal and loch fans should try and read this.

Thrilling and Sound 14 May 2011
By J. T. Stoltz - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Unfolding like a novel, this book was written by a renowned biologist spearheading the first major scientific surveys of the Loch Ness phenomena. His approach could hardly be more thorough or scientifically sound. Taking in all the data, Mackal deduces the most probable species of the monster. Highly recommended for science-minded people who savor life's mysteries.

Well duh! This is no kids book!!! Dr. Mackal is/was a real scientist who approached cryptozoology with both a open and skeptical mind. This book is grand!!
