The Monster Squad how can i sum up this movie in one word (Fantastic.)I loved this film ever since i saw it as a child and have kept my original ex rental copy all these years.Plot A hundred years ago in Transylvania Dracula fought his final battle,now one hundred years later that same battle will start again in America he recruits all the old monsters to help him(Frankenstein's monster,the wolfman,the mummy and the creature from the black lagoon.)His opponents the monster squad a group of kids who are obsessed with monsters.Brilliant,this needs a DVD release soon because it's a deleted title on video so many people won't be able to obtain a copy.If you have a copy don't let it go.

The Monster Squad is a movie that built my love for monster movies. Its about a group of kids who love horror more than life itself. But, Dracula awakens and this time it isnt a movie! The Fangs are Sharp and the Blood is Real!
Dracula hasn't come alone, he's brought back some old friends:
Wolf Man, The Creature From the Black Lagoon and Frankenstein!
Will the kids be able to put a stop to this evil? See for yourself!

In keeping with the 'brat packs' of the eighties movies scene, this fantastic film delivers all that one would look for in a movie of its genre. With fantastic special effects and as much stage make-up as you can handle the group of mismatched boys (and girl) battle against the evil forces of Dracula, Wolfman, The Mummy etc, and no grown ups to help they got their work cut out for them! If not for the sheer enjoyment of it, buy this video simply to say that you own it...and who would have thought wolfman has nards!
