Electric Pet Toothbrush,

This toothbrush cleans teeth as well as can be desired and is probably easier to use than a manual one would be, so I recomend it.

Best toothbrush for dogs!,
By Msminnamouse - Published on Amazon.com

I have a 10 year old standard poodle. Her teeth are in better condition than dogs more than half her age. I've been brushing her teeth daily with a toothpaste without artificial sweeteners or alcohol and a regular dog toothbrush. Recently I found out about the Petosan Silentpower Sonic Toothbrush and have been using it instead of a regular toothbrush and I've definably noticed a difference.
With regular brushing and abrasive chews, you can save a lot of money and avoid having to get your dog's teeth cleaned at the vet. 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful:

Good concept, but not quite there yet...,

Having used a sonic toothbrush for personal use, I was excited to try it for my large dog. Unfortunately, this brush does not work very well. After two weeks, I gave up trying to get it to work and continued using the regular brush.
My dog was quite tolerant and the sound is minimal, but the fact you have to place the brush over the teeth makes it hard to use. If the manufacturer only made a head for this brush that was similar to normal heads, it could be used on the sides of the teeth (outside) and get a better brushing. Others seem to want a smaller brush, but they have small dogs. I wish it was larger, because even the one for "large" dogs is too small---especially for the canine tooth! |
