Been playing D&D since I can remember, I think my first charachter was a magic user, back in 1983. :)
We have a small group playing regularly on Monday evenings and Saturday afternoons, 6 and my self as DM. We have around 100 figurines now, all purchased via Amazon (Thanks for your awesome service guys, taking into account I am in South Africa), and I am really pleased with the quality of this product. I must have purchased about 4 or 5 of these boxed sets and although some repitition, I always like to have at least 3-5 of the same monsters for those encounters that require more than 1 orc or goblin.
Really great product, I am ordering more now!

Its a shame that WOTC have stopped making new minis as i still think these are good value and well made, on the upside i suppose the aftermarket values will start to rise soon.
You do get a lot for the money and compared to other mini sets all of the D&D ones hold up well.
The large figures are generally all excellent, and i dont think ive found any of the smaller ones that ive been unhappy with, some are excellent and there are a few which are "good", but the excellent figures in these sets far outweigh the "good" ones.
I want to buy more of these sets but they are getting harder to come across, and prices are going up for the older sets.
I would suggest you buy now if you want to collect them as they are becoming rare.
