Very cute! 27 Aug. 2014

FF Operetta is just perfectly lovely. I wasn't too sure about the color scheme at first, but for fifteen bucks, I figured, eh. Why not? She's far prettier in person than online and her red, pink, and black color scheme is very unique. The facial screening on mine is perfect and she has the loveliest makeup. A bright, almost neon pink lipstick, black wingtip eyeliner, smoky silver eyeshadow going up to her crease with a light, nearly translucent silver shadow under the eye and on top of the smoky silver reaching up to the browbone. Very exquisite. The doll I received had flawless hair with no packaging defects and no gel. It was soft, straight with a slight wave and layered down nearly into a point in the back, and quite nice to the touch. It's pretty rare to get a MH doll without atrocious box hair, so I was really thankful for Operetta's hair. Her mask is really cool, and a totally new style for Operetta. Sleek, with stitches running across it and a jagged edge near her temple. Very neat. Her dress, which is bright pink with black plaid on one side and black with bright pink plaid on the other side is quite unusual. The plaid is cleverly designed to look like sheet music and has little musical notes running across it in the color of the plaid on either side. The bottom of the dress has a short, approximately one centimeter trimming of black netting and running down the dress is a strip of thin white ribbon with silver dots on it probably made to resemble silver buttons. The belt, made to look like a necktie, is the only thing that I think might have been a mistake in this outfit. It's blood red with black dots and make of a satin-like material. But really, what kind of fashion statement is a necktie worn around the waist? I guess it was just a nod to Frankie's signature tie but I still think it looked a little awkward. Just a personal opinion. As far as the quality of the belt, nice, well made, removable from the dress. Operetta's stockings, however, quite make up for the tie belt. They're hot pink down one leg and black down the other. They're also made of a thick material, so they're more like winter leggings than stockings. They feel nice, they're interesting, easy on and off, and they'll match lots of my other dolls too. Love the stockings. The shoes are lovely too. They're red Mary Jane style stilettos with two red straps with black buckles and toes made to look like black leather patches. The heels are made to look like bolts, Frankie Stein style. For jewelry, Operetta only has one hexagonal shaped bangle that comes packaged on her right wrist and her Frankie Stein inspired choker. No earrings, but you could technically give her one where her mask attaches. She comes with a quilted pink handbag as well. Bottom line: Really nice collectible doll. Outfit is durable enough to be a wise choice for little collectors as well. =)
Great Buy 26 Dec. 2014

I bought a few Monster High dolls for my three-year old for Christmas since she has grown rather attached to them and I love them too. I have to say this one is quite durable and has lived up to a three-year old's interpretation of "maintenance" with the hair brushing and throwing it around. The outfit is so adorable and I like the freaky fusion aspect. The price was amazing so I say it was all in all a great buy!

Very Pretty 15 July 2014

Very pretty version of Operetta. I'm happy for the previous review by 'zombie' & their doll was just like the picture. However my Operetta's hair is NOTHING like the picture. It is thin & nowhere NEAR as long - it barely reaches past her shoulders! Despite this she is cute & Looks very cute in FF Ghoulia's black eyeglasses!

She looks exactly like she is shown. She comes with a yellow doll stand and brush, totally worth the 14.99 I paid. Her nylons are 2 different colors and her face is pretty,, love her long straight hair. She was got as a gift and I know the person will totally love her

It's a doll. I bought it for my daughter. She seems to like it. There are a lot of small pieces, so I'm sure she's lost one or two by now. She's been playing with the doll often, and won't share with me. Maybe I should buy my own...
