Jacqueline Wilson brings the emotional intensity of her writing to a younger audience. In 'Monster Eyeballs' the characters deal with conflict and bullying. Their vulnerability and coping strategies are explored, indentifying real life-skills for the reader. The story is both sad and funny and with a moral that asks for understanding. The sophistication of the writing is masked by the simplicity of the tale.
The short speech bubbles encourage the early reader and the interest of the story allows for frequent repitition so that the book grows with the skills of the developing reader.
Adults and children can enjoy this book, a truly outstanding work.

Kates brother invites Mark(a boy that is bullying Kate) to a party and they play a game called monster eyeballs. This is all i can tell you because you have to read it to find out what happens! Remember buy it from amazon!
