Good update on an old classic, considering the year!
Haven't played other versions (cities, simpsons etc) before, but am enjoying this immensely.
Playing pieces are updated - tube train, taxi, as is the money (Monopoly 'dollars' instead of good old sterling), and the houses/hotels become stands and stadia, but the premise is the same - make as much money as possible, preferably from other people! There's also the addition of another dice cube, which is supposed to speed the game up, but we haven't used it yet - good idea for those who just want a quick game.
Also a good way to start learning about money management from an early age, and the actual box has been redesigned to hold the bank's money, property cards etc very well, and there's also a handy bag to stop losing the dice, stands and stadia.

Bought as a souvenir reminder of our visit. Gameplay is same as ever - and lots to like in this edition - not sure of dollars rather than pounds but still gets kids counting and calculating through fun. I like the few new extra touches - a bag to keep the bits tidy and the box design which holds the money and cards and make it easier to set out. The children really like the quirky playing pieces - the mini Mandeville is always picked first! There are stands and stadia to build rather than houses and hotels and we tend to stick playing with one dice. Good value for money and can't really go wrong with this classic, especially at this price.
