Product Description

Product Description

A collection of stories all told in one voice. Narrators as varied as a country doctor, a junior devil, a reality TV star, a retired policeman.......and Douglas.

Who killed His Lordship? Can you ever have too many detectives? Why are politicians feeling a little queasy? How can salad vegetables bring you fame and fortune? What's the secret of an Arizona orphan? How does a bitter man reward all the people who've irritated him? And really, what can we do about Wendy?

Short stories to make you laugh, to make you think, to make you wonder.

About the Author

Born in the swamps of Glamorgan, I have wandered the world, generally with a guitar in hand. Here I am in a beautiful village in central Spain, where the sun shines, the lake is warm, the drink is cheap and the people and animals are friendly. I share my place with two gorgeous local cats, more guitars than I can count and a fridge full of wine. Oh, and I write stories. Many of them about Otis King, Memphis' Number One Welsh Blues detective. Others about Angels, murderers, failed Super-Villains and ingrowing toenails. I'd be happy if some of my stories amused you for a while.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best laughs I've had in years 20 Oct 2012

Monophonic Like 'Solo' a book of highly amusing short stories, and some very observant ones at that. Indeed, I can see why I'm such a fan, it's obvious that I've found somebody who seems to be able to read my thoughts in some situations. I'm led to believe there's a novel on the way, the readers are reminded of this regularly and given what bits are left out of these tales, it should make interesting reading. Do keep them coming...please...

Peters has done it again...his talent in taking you along as if you're talking to a new pal you've just met in a bar, with great short stories...captivating, very very funny, and written in a highly individualistic style...I've downloaded all of his recent offerings, and found all of them equally highly entertaining..treat yourselves..
