Product Description

You’re in luck. You just found the most enjoyable, hilarious book you’ll ever read on a typically not-so-fun topic; family/personal finances. Even if you know all this stuff already, it’s worth reading just for the laughs! WARNING: If you are offended by some crass language, then maybe this book isn’t for you.

The short and sweet, face slapping innuendos of the Money Prick will drill home must-know personal finance tips in such a way that you won’t want to put the book down. Author Taylor Young has ingeniously earned the title “Big Prick,” insulting you from the opening chapter right up to the very last lines. You might as well be thoroughly entertained as you bone up on the money tips that will transform your life, help your family and possibly save your marriage (or future marriage).

About the Author: Taylor Young lives in the Seattle, Washington area.

1.0 out of 5 stars Irritating and states the obvious 20 July 2013

I got this as a free download - fortunate as I'd hate to have wasted money on this.

Irritating and largely superficial treatment of things, and so bad that frankly I couldn't be bothered to wade through it all. NOT recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bravo, Money Prick 5 May 2014

If you do not believe you are hypnotized and exploited by big banks and corporations, read this book. The author sheds a light on the misery produced by trying to "keep up with the Joneses" and falling into the high interest loans trap. He uses strong language to wake us, the readers, up. IF you think swearing is a greater sin than corporate rip offs, don't read this book.
4.0 out of 5 stars Blunt common sense budgeting advice! 26 Dec 2013

This book was written by a man for men, but should be read by all. The author gives logical arguments for his advice. He exposes common middle class traps. Some tips run counter to more famous gurus' recommendations. Coarse language at times, but delivered in a manner that would be done by a true friend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very funny and full of wisdom 30 July 2013

If you're not very sensitive when it comes to "bad" language, you won't regret reading this book: it's very funny, full of economic wisdom and common sense. I can't say that any of its recommendations are particularly new, but its tone is very lively, fresh and direct. A very good read!
5.0 out of 5 stars Hilareous and Helpful 28 July 2013

I just couldn't stop laughing! The author is very humorous, a good writer and provides excellent tips regarding how to get out of and stay out of debt. The author has been down the road of debt himself and has successfully not only rid himself of all debt, but has figured out how to become wealthy without earning a ton of money. Because of his personal struggle and success he is in an excellent position to help you while cracking you up at the same time!
5.0 out of 5 stars Tough Money Love 8 July 2013

This book was great. It covered a lot of important financial topics and gave great, concise direction. It was a good format that did not over complicate the issues. Math was used in examples to illustrate points but not so in depth that it would fly over the average readers head.
