Im not one to review normally, but this album deserves some kudos.
I didn't realise Anthony Pappa had moved towards the progressive style, or maybe I was under the wrong impression. Years back I heard some of his sets and on the whole they where more light and funky. So this album came as a pleasant surprise, as a result I've since been off and got hold of the first Moments instalment as well.
For me the track selection here meets a perfect balance, it has the deeper/progressive edge to house music that I enjoy without becoming another minimal/repetitive compilation (which I still have a lot of time for, but currently seem to be 10 a penny).
This, along with Joris Voorn's Balance 014, sit at the top of my favourites and look likely to stay for a while.
