This comp is so far the best of 2009. I was blown away with the first Moments and this has not let up on the highest level of prog and deep/tech house selection, mixing & all round journey of a very good prog mix.

Many recent releases from big names have been mediocre to say the least but Pappa manages to stay true to form of the first Moments and really make you wish you were in the middle of a dancefloor having a great time. Wont disrespect it by naming out specific tracks as i really think that does little to aid a person thinking on buying a CD of this genre but there are a good few Mammoth tracks that puts a big smile on your face or make you go "ouu yeah"!!...

If you liked the first, please get this....you wont regret it. cant recommend this Comp highly enough if you are a fan of honest, pure, driving, techy, deep prog. Think Hawtin met Digweed who then bumped into Dave Seamen who just happened to be on the phone to Jim Rivers!.

A pleasant surprise 13 Aug 2009
Format:Audio CD
Im not one to review normally, but this album deserves some kudos.

I didn't realise Anthony Pappa had moved towards the progressive style, or maybe I was under the wrong impression. Years back I heard some of his sets and on the whole they where more light and funky. So this album came as a pleasant surprise, as a result I've since been off and got hold of the first Moments instalment as well.

For me the track selection here meets a perfect balance, it has the deeper/progressive edge to house music that I enjoy without becoming another minimal/repetitive compilation (which I still have a lot of time for, but currently seem to be 10 a penny).

This, along with Joris Voorn's Balance 014, sit at the top of my favourites and look likely to stay for a while.

How it should be. 30 Oct 2010
Format:Audio CD
Whilst Digweed and Sasha seemed to have lost their way by trying to be different, Antony Pappa has produced a brilliant mix here. It is tribal and progressive, with lots of new sounds to lose your mind to, some parts of it make your hair stand up on end - well worth it.
