The Moleskine Pocket Memo Pockets is bound in cardboard, with a 'moleskine' cover having rounded corners and an elastic enclosure. Six sturdy pockets provide a great place to organize receipts, tickets, business cards, pictures and memories. Each Moleskine journal has a removable card with the history of Moleskines.

Surely a design classic, the Moleskine notebook was originally made by a small bookbinding company in Paris. For a hundred years discerning artists, journalists, authors and travellers were able to buy these wonderful notebooks in Parisian stationers. Picasso, Van Gogh, Hemingway and Chatwin were all fans of this anonymous little black notebook. In 1986 the manufacturer of these notebooks, then based in Tours, closed down and they were no longer available until a Milanese publisher began to produce them again in 1990. Since then the range has expanded hugely but the basic concept and quality remain exactly the same. We have stocked Moleskine since 1990 and we are pleased to say that we know the product well.

This is an ESSENTIAL item for anyone who normally carries a handbag or briefcase. It holds all the "bitty" things that get lost in the depths, or hopelessly mashed into the corners.
The "pay-on-exit" car park ticket, business cards, the button that popped off, the open pack of chewing gum, the book of stamps, the spare hair bungee, the safety pin, the plasters, the receipt and the nail file now all have somewhere to go, and will NEVER be lost or exhumed from a corner covered in fluff again!
It is suprisingly capacious, and the elastic strap holds it closed nicely without squashing things beyond all recognition.
I bought one several years ago, and carry things in it that will just not fit into my purse, but need to be kept safe. This does the job admirably, and all I can say is that wherever I go, my moleskine goes too...!

This item is almost too exciting. Having discovered the old-skool elegance of the Moleskine diary and notebook, I now have a matching piece of stationery to keep all my expenses receipts, business cards and 2-for-1 vouchers from getting lost in the depths of my handbag. The black hard cover is held in place by the classic elastic and unfolds to reveal the cream coloured pockets. The open edge is against the spine of the cover, so nothing will drop out.
