Bought this little meter to check the moisture content of the concrete floor in a new build house.Had a few irregular readings when I checked the same spot twice but found that cleaning the needle points as it instucted to do on the instructions sorted this out.Contact needles have to be in contact with the surface to be tested before pressing the test button.All in all I paid £25 for this from amazon and had seen proper flooring test meters for contract use costing £175 for a basic one.I saved some money with this little gadget as I was doing the flooring myself so would recommend it highly.Bear in mind this little thing is tiny about the size of a match box.Did what I needed it to do.

i bought this moisture meter for a water leak under concrete.
it has been very useful at confirming the centre spot in the concrete.

Not bad but hard to use and not sure about accurracy
This is a neat little meter and works OK, but not brilliant. You have to push pretty hard to dig the prongs in to get a reading, then the percentage can go up and down a lot. Read more

Too small
Gives a reading, but this item is physically too small to effectively hold against walls, especially in cramped locations. Needs something more substantial.
