Product Description

The Tower Airer Clothes Drying Rack is a folding laundry rack with a massive 95' of drying space. This drying rack is made of steel with a durable powder coated finish, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. With all three shelves in the down position, this airer is great for flat drying of sweaters. For long hang drying, fold the shelves in half. And for space-efficiency, fold half of the shelves down and roll the frame on its casters up against the wall. This unit folds flat for storage (52.4" x 28" x 1.5"). Assembly level/degree of difficulty: No Assembly Required.

Not that great. 17 Feb 2010

This product has very thin steel rods. It cannot hold bathtowels or jeans. I have broken two of the rods trying to hang jeans or bathtowels on them. It works great for small things like wash clothes and socks. Its okay for t-shirts and hand towels. I will not buy this type of product again. I will stick with the inexpensive wooden racks. They may not be very stable but they don't break when you put jeans on them.

After two years' use, love it - just don't expect much from the casters 21 Oct 2009

I set this rack up in the basement. It definitely holds a lot of wet clothes however the casters keep popping off! When they pop off, the rack doesn't fall however it's a pain to keep putting them back on. They are L shapped and just clip on to the bottom corners of the rack. Also, I wouldn't recommend this rack for jeans; they seemed a little heavy for the rack. Sweaters and smaller items work well though.

Update (April 2012): I have had this rack for over two years now and love it. Aside from the casters, this is a great drying rack - lots of square footage. I use it on a regular basis and it looks to be in the same condition as when I purchased it. (Just don't use it for jeans and other heavy clothes!)

A wonderful value! Especially for those of us that live in cities and use public and/or shared washers and dryers, we don't always get the settings, heat levels, wash types as an in-home washer and dryer. That makes a space-saving but VERY expansive drying rack imperative! We've been loving ours - so much of our wash requires gentle handling, a delicate cycle, or a low drying setting that our laundromat doesn't provide. This has saved many garments by drying them with many options for allowing lots of air between items, between what seems like hundreds of rods (spread across the six included racks) which are all movable - you can decide how much space you want to take up depending on how much you need to dry. The quality is also excellent - we've had this for months now and we've given it a beating! It still stands, folds, and all the hardware is intact as brand-new.

Helps reduce time dryer is on; compact, mobile, versatile, works well 23 Nov 2009

Bought product for use at a very small rural farm house to dry clothes during the winter months or on rainy days. Folds up to be stored next to the double stack washer/dryer unit and kitchen stove. Tall enough to allow me to put queen size sheets over it and not touch the floor. I even used it as a cooling rack when I baked a bunch of cookies. Very happy with the product. Only very minor thing I would mention is that it could be made of more heavy duty wire but I have not had any problems to date.

Nice flexible drying rack 7 Sep 2009
By Jayne S. Docherty - Published on
I moved into a flat with one of those combination washer/dryer machines. I'm not writing a review of the machine ... lucky for the manufacturer since it does not dry clothes very well. Needed a COMPACT and FLEXIBLE rack to use in a tiny flat. This is working out great. When not in use, it goes flat. You can also make 1/2 of it flat and use only one side. With the wheels it moves easily even when loaded.
