3.0 out of 5 stars fair enough acount of the history of electronic music, 28 May 2001
By A Customer
Coffee Table stuff. A nicely designed book, with plenty of pictures and little designer lines and drawings, but an overall lack of substance. A loose colection of essays, or rather plain journalistic writings, without too many new references or ideas about the history of electronic music and its meaning, if there's any to be found. Good for starters, but if you really want to get deep, look somewhere else. There are too many good books about the subject, with plentyful data and fresh ideas...This book could have been published by Taschen
