This is actually made from pine and not walnut as described on the box. . No assembly instructions enclosed although it is fairly easy to assemble. However some of the holes for for the dowels are a bit tight and inevitably the wood split(not unusual for Pine). This was easily fixed with a bit of glue. Overall it does the job but I am i bit dissappointed in the quality
