Modern Times is amazing! The film has a memborable score and a very funny scene were The Tramp is in jail. Chaplin is fantastic, he is funny and very amusing, Chaplin shows his magic brillantly in this film. To this day when comedys are being destroyed by spoofs and teen comedys, Modern Times shows just how great comedy used to be. Enjoyable and heart warming Modern Times will surprisingly make you laugh and give you joy. This is one the best comedies ever made!

Format:VHS Tape
Charlie won great reviews after he presented Modern Times to the world. Made in 1936, this film about the tramp finding employment in a machine factory, is a masterpiece! As with many of his later films, Charlie made Modern Times to make a point, in this case about young men working with machines that did just one job and how this constant repitition could damage the workers health. This film is one of Chaplin's greatest and one that is watchable again and again! The laughter roles along with every scene! A MUST buy!

I wish more Chaplin could be found on DVD; it is a must for all fans of moving images.Modern Times reflects his modern genius.

this film is just great madness, machines, and mayhem all cooked up to make up this classic and a brillant performance from Chaplin for the last time a the little tramp
