Fantastic memories from school days,

I first read this book whilst studying for GSCE English (some 13-14 years ago). There are many great stories here which are truly memorable (after many years of searching high and low I finally found the book here in Amazon and bought it again to re-read these great stories).Each story is followed by a brief analysis and questions which prompts the reader to consider the issues raised in the story and the way in which the story was written. I think my favourite was "Lie thee down, Oddity" by T.F.Powys (but other stories included by Ernest Hemmingway, F Scott Fitzgerald, etc. make the book worth reading several times).
