I had to read this book as a part of my degree course. I found it a breath of fresh air after the stuffy textbooks we usually use. It provides a readable account of the history of psychometrics, it also worked through the construction of tests in an understandable manner. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone with even a vague interest in psychometrics.
