5.0 out of 5 stars The Modern Herb Gardener - authoritiative and fun, 8 May 2004

This review is from: The Modern Herb Gardener: Discover How Easy it is to Grow, Care for, Use and Enjoy These Marvellous Plants Indoors and Out (Hardcover)
As a relative novice at gardening but interested in growing and using herbs, I found this fascinating and interesting. There are plenty of good colour illustrations. I particularly liked the way it doesn't talk down to you. It tells you which herbs are safe to use and which herbs are not, and why. There is a wealth of easy to find, authoritative information on planting, cultivating and harvesting herbs and lots of interesting information which is just fun to know.
