What a resource! 4 Nov 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Tantra? Before reading the information in this book, I never knew what Tantra was all about, and maybe even shied away from it. What a nice surprise to find out that Tantra has a lot to do with purifying the negativity in my own mind! It is so nice to read such a Pure transmission of this subject. Now I see how easy misunderstandings can happen with respect to Tantra, and how lucky I am to find clear and unmistaken instructions. It is so rare to find such purity in this degenerate world.

For my full review please refer to volume 1 of this ebook. The original paper edition of this book has been made available by the author without charge as a kindle book (amazon insist on a small fee), but in the electronic format it is split into 3 different eBooks, of which this is the second.

Volume 2, Tantra, covers the much misunderstood and normally difficult to understand teachings on Buddhist Tantra. However, these parts are written with extreme clarity making the practical purpose abundantly obvious. Before you can fully benefit from these teachings (on Tantra), the reader should have actually received the teachings and blessings directly from a qualified teacher. But, even if this is not the case, the author's achievement of de-mystifying and clarifying Tantra, without losing its profoundly spiritual meaning, should, in my opinion be highly praised. At last even people with busy lives, with no esoteric bone in their body, but needing direct practical tools to make their every day activities (whatever they may be) meaningful can understand and learn how to apply what are often considered to be Buddha's most profound instructions.

In this book, Geshe Kelsang gives a clear and practical explanation of Buddhist Tantra, the supreme quick path to enlightenment. This is a subject which is quite profound and difficult to find simple and practical instructions on, so this volume is a gem, a must for anyone interested in inner peace and happiness.

The book begins by giving some encouragement to practise Tantra and then goes on to explain the two stages of Tantric practice - Generation Stage and Completion Stage. Geshe Kelsang then explains how to practise Tantra according to the instructions of Heruka Body Mandala and Vajrayogini. Through practising these instructions sincerely, enlightenment can be attained in one short human life and when we become enlightened, we can benefit all living beings.

According to Buddha, attaining the supreme inner peace of Enlightenment is the real meaning of human life. This volume, available for download on Kindle, will delight those who already have knowledge of Buddhist Tantra but it will also amaze those who are new to Buddhist practice. Never in this history of Buddhism have these instructions been presented so simply and accessibly
