grandmaster larry evans helped bobby fischer to write his 60 memorable games. evans is also probably the most widely read of any chess journalist since his syndicated column goes to 50 us newspapers and he writes regularly in the us chess federation magazine chess life where his articles are consistently voted the most popular!here evans takes some brilliant games and annotates them in the modern algebraic notation, his notes are expert well written and avoid the telephone directory style that ruins so much modern chess literature. the games are also very well chosen for combativity content thrills and spills.
