Very precise, with great, analytical comments not only on the plot of the novel, but also the structure and the historical contexts. Really helpful for my GCSE exams

this book is helping my son study 'To kill a mockingbird' at GCSE. it may not be the best text guide but it does come up with points that other books haven't covered, so is a helpful attitional text guide.

Being able to view inside the book beforehand made for informed decision on the purchase of these notes. Book obviously made for the job, very informative guide to GCSE requirements.

i think the review was reli helpful, but occasionally i needed a summary of what had happended, and the guide didnt give one, it asked questions instead, so a summary of each chapter instead of lots of questions would have been good, other than that really helpful

Brought this for my daughter who is revising for her forthcoming GCSE. She has found this very helpful in aiding her own views of the play as well as other perspectives to analysis. She has found this a great asset and reassuring during this time of revision. Very helpful.

A useful reference book but quite boring I'm afraid. I am a secondary school English teacher and found it didn't give anything perceptive or original.

However as a basic reminder of the plot and characters, it's okay.

Widely used by daughter and friends would recommend to anyone taking GCSE's this summer as it sets out characters from the novel in easy to understand text.
