I've got a system in my bedroom which means I must turn off the mains to my bedside lamp at night or else there are lights shining from extension sockets and a hum from the power source to my radio (drives me *nuts*). This little battery powered light is bright enough for me to pop on (has clipped nicely to a shelf) and safely make my way to bed - may sound odd but being disabled I have to be careful how I move. Not only that, I can clip it onto my Kindle and read without having to have the mains lights on. At this price it's a bargain - the dual setting light is bright without being blinding, and as long as you aim it at the right angle, gives enough light without glare on the screen to read as long as you want without tiring your eyes. Love it. Only improvement that could be made would be for it to have its own in-built rechargeable batteries, but hey, you get what you pay for.
