Very good 'all-in-one' mobile robotics book 24 Dec. 2013
By Reinhard Gerndt - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
The book covers all relevant (high-level) aspects of (wheeled) mobile robotics. It follows a very thorough approach with a focus on the underlying math. It should be especially suitable for those searching for a deep insight and sound base to work in the field of robotics. I consider 'Mobile Robotics' a very good book for readers with some mathematical background. Furthermore, some intrinsic motivation may be required, since the book targets a very steep learning curve.
I will use it as textbook for my computer science graduate class on robotics, but will try to smoothen some of the 'hard edges'.

Interesting book. Covers most of the subject on control of mobile robots. I will use it in a course.
