Icy Box Mobile Rack For 3.5" Sata Hard Drive With Sata Interface - Hot Swap - Black I bought 2 of these so I could swap between different PC configurations, on a "play" computer. One is perfect, the other has a really noisy fan (needless to say, this is the one I use least) - hence the 3 star rating! They are fairly sturdy, compared to others I've used in the past. Please note these are labelled as SATA 150, but are working fine with SATA 300 drives.. I don't have any performance issues, but they are on a "spare" PC.

Beware use with Samsung drives 26 July 2010

When using a samsung drive in this mobile rack it played havoc with my PC (very slow access) along with being VERY noisy. The Samsung works fine if installed without the rack.
Worked fine however with a Hitachi drive, haven't tried any others.

See my previous review of this product Does the job so I bought two more, but not quite the one in the picture on the web or on the box. Slightly different one shown which is more metal (and dearer)
