5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful 2 April 2014
By Ana
I received this deck as a birthday present. I loved it.
It has three or four rhymes in each card, for easier divination, similar to the Blue Owl but different. The cards are just slightly smaller regular playing cards: 8,7cm high and 5,6 cm wide. They are beautiful, with an old feeling to them (like you are holding an antique) and with a good quality. The images are gorgeous and have a victorian outlook, though sometimes georgian or medieval when it comes to the court cards.
The cards are done in white and a single black line around it as a border, with a drawing that occupies most of the card and represents it. The upper left corner has a small oval figure with the correspondent in regular playing cards and the number of the card a top of it. For exemple: the Rod (card nº 11) is represented by the knave of clubs. On the upper right side there is the name of the card and the rhyme.
The little white book has small but accurate meanings. You can buy a more detailed book of your choice, on the subject.
I advise these for beginners and advanced readers alike. These are easy to use and intuitive.
I do not know which one i like best: these or the Blue Owl Lenormand (within the genre). If they are sold out in Amazon, you can get both at AGM site (tarot world - urania) at a cheap price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for beginners 11 April 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Beginners will find the Lenormand cards easy to learn because there is a descriptive poem written on each card foretelling its fate.
Collectors of Tarot cards will find this deck a charming addition to their collection, with historical significance, as Mlle. Lenormand was the psychic consult of Napoleon & Josephine.

5.0 out of 5 stars great deck! 29 Nov 2004
By Sylvie Steinbach - Published on Amazon.com
Lenormand deck exists in 4 versions and can be a powerful tool to predict the future. unfortunately no serious book is available in english to master this little deck. the information booklet will frustrate you because of its simplistic and unpractical approach. But if you are searching for a collection deck and want to study it, you will find it very interesting. one day a english language study book will be available...we can only hope as french and german language ones are quickly out of print or out of stock.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interperative book 16 Mar 2003
By D. Danielson - Published on Amazon.com
Several interperative books are avaliable. Unfortunately, few of them are imported into the USA. One that is avaliable is called Titania's Fortune Cards. This book is an excellent resource guide to using Mlle Lenormand's 36 card deck. Mlle. Lenormand also created a 54 card deck called the Grand Lenormand

5.0 out of 5 stars Carta Mundi Lenormand deck 21 Feb 2014
By Diane Young - Published on Amazon.com

These are just lovely! I love having the combo of the pips and the verses, and the Lenormand images are simple and soft. The card stock is normal, but it's a wonderful deck to add to your collection or as a starter deck.
