I bought these shoes for our son who is a collegiate runner with over 100 miles a week in training runs. With this mileage, we go through many pairs of running shoes. Out of the many trainers and racing flats that he owns, these Sayonaras are his new favorites. The following is his review.
"The Sayonara is a neutral performance shoe with a lightweight design (8.1 oz). As a training shoe, it provides a springy, responsive ride with enough cushioning to hold up over my long distance runs. I have a bit of an over-pronation issue with one foot and this shoe provides sufficient stability.
As far as sizing, they appear to run fairly true to size when held length-to-length with my various other trainers. However, for some reason, they feel slightly large to me when on my feet. Not so much so that they'll give me a problem while running; but I may order my next pair a half size smaller for that reason."
(Mom again) I ordered the Sayonara in the blue color which sounds pretty basic. On the Mizuno website, the color is listed as "Dude Blue / Anthracite / Bolt." Not sure if it's the "dude" in the blue...but, appearance-wise, they're very snazzy looking shoes.
