Compelling 22 Sep 2005
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
Compelling and thourough, Andrew and Mitrokhin have managed to produce an important addition to our understanding of how the KGB operated in non Western countries.

Allegations in the book are balanced and cautiously researched.

This is an important work that contains many juicy details.

KGB secrets revealed in full 11 Nov 2007
By Paul Dsouza - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
When former KGB man Vasili Mitrokhin defected to the UK he took with him the most extensive archive of intelligence received from any source ever. This book is a must-read for all those of you who enjoyed the earlier Part-1. This second part reveals the full extent of the KGB's links in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. This book exposes the extent of the KGB's connections with many world leaders including Castro, Allende, Nasser, Saddam, Mengistu etc. A bit tedious to read, but definitely worth the effort.
