Product Description

When you've lost what you love most, a life in hell comes easy...

Lewis Beckford's wife was murdered on a London subway car; now Lewis spends his night searching the underbelly of London looking for the man with the snake tattoo. A year after her death, he finds Richard Baxter, but his attempt to bring the man to summary justice for his crime goes horribly awry when the train finds its way to Mithras Court Station, a place not on any mortal map of London. The only key Lewis finds is a name - Sir Lucius Knight. But Knight seeks only his own empire to rule, and in Mithras Court, he has that. Lewis cannot buy his assistance easily, but Knight offers a deal: Lewis' aid in Knight's plan to expand his kingdom in exchange for Lewis' freedom.

An action-packed story of love, revenge, and the horror that waits for all people, Mithras Court will be a key book for fans of horror and gothic romance alike.

5.0 out of 5 stars Return to Ravenloft!, 25 Mar 2009
By T. Thompson - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Mithras Court: A Novel of the Mists (Ravenloft: Dominion) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book to me encapsulates what Ravenloft should be, a world of suspense, horror, and thrills. This books is as good as Vampires in the Mists, I Strahd, or When the Black Rose Blooms.

The book starts out with a plot of revenge for a slain loved one(trying not to spoil book). Before the plot can hatch, the mists take an entire group of people into the Realm of Dread. Upon their exiting the train car(takes place in late 1800's) they are swarmed by zombies. They find shelter in an Inn, where everyone is suspicious of them. And this is just the first couple of chapters in this book.

If you enjoyed any of the books I mentioned before, you will love this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent read -, 20 Nov 2008
By Howard H. Lubinger "Confusingous" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Mithras Court: A Novel of the Mists (Ravenloft: Dominion) (Mass Market Paperback)
I recently read 'Mithras Court' and must say that I truly enjoyed it cover to cover. The book was a great length and the story paced well. I have noticed that many times with Wizards of the Coast (TSR, D&D, etc.)books you get to a point where there are 30 pages left and you just know that the ending will be rushed and, thus, downgrade the rest of the work. Not so here.

David A. Page has written an excellent tale with great characters and I cannot wait to read his next work!

4.0 out of 5 stars Way to go Mr. Page, 5 Mar 2009
By The Meteorologist "Don't Call Me Weatherman" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Mithras Court: A Novel of the Mists (Ravenloft: Dominion) (Mass Market Paperback)
Mithras Court is a excellent book with some twists, turns and a different perspective in thinking beyond the conventional fantasy Sci-Fi book. I have read Mr. Page's past works and this book shows a new level of writing excellence. The book is a fast paced interesting read with excellent character and plot development. The story was quite good and I will have to agree with another Amazon reviewer in saying that the last 30 pages were quite something. I am looking forward to future books from David as he is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.
