I have heard comparisons between Sex & The City and Mistresses and I for one see they have nothing in common apart from the fact that both series have 4 main female leads.All 4 actresses in this are outstanding.Sarah Parish in particular plays 'vunerable'for a change rather than the fiesty man eater roles we are used to seeing her in.Shelly Conn,Orla Brady & Sharon Small are also great,loved Sharon Small in Glasgow Kiss but I have never come across the other 2 in anything else but I am now a firm fan.
What a fab series this is.I truly cared about each of these women and every episode left me wanting more.
I watched the entire series in 2 afternoons and I will certainly be getting Series 2 quick smart.If you like your dramas with more than a dash of laughter and the odd tear or two this is deffo for you.

This is a most enjoyable series! Almost like an English version of Desperate Housewives. The second series is even better and I hope there will be a third series!

I loved this series when it was on tv so had to buy it before series 2 was showing. It's even better the second time around!
All the characters are fantastic and there are so many "oh my god!" moments throughout it keeps you entertained and glued to the set all the way.
