acoustic beauty 17 May 2001
By A. Khan
Format:Audio CD
This is a superb collection of beautifully chilled acoustic songs. The producer John Leckie (Stone Roses, Radiohead) has captured a gorgeous sound comprising of Baba's sweet trilling voice mixed with acoustic instruments including Chris Franck s (of Smoke City and Da Lata fame) gentle brazillian percussion. You can even hear the chirrups of insects intermingled with the glorious music. A proper chill out album for the forthcoming summer months.
